Chakravakam was a serial which was telecasted on Surya TV between 2011 and 2012. This show was the return of the actor Nithin who was one of the leads in the program. This serial is a family based story with some Love added to it. The cast of this serial are Nithin, Amrutha, Neena Kurup, V. K. Baiju, Puja and Nisha Sarang. The serial was directed by V.N. Mohandas. The production was done under the banner of Sasank Pallamala Production control by Sudhakar Pallamala. This was one of the serials of Asianet of the years 2011 and 2012. The production house then made more serials under its production and V. N. Mohandas also directed serials for Surya TV and also to other channels.
The story is a simple family love story which had some realistic touch to the scenes. This was the main attraction for the serial to be liked by the Malayalam serial audience. The story is about two families which lived their life in friendly manner and happily. But that all changed after it enters a love affair. Then both the families started to hate each other which made the serial more interesting. Then one of the family members plans to break the other families’ happiness and works on it through giving bad advice. Then the relationship between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law goes to a bad face because of the wrong advice given by the family member. Then this ego clash between the relatives with some good script and writing made this serial a hit in the television industry.

Awards[edit]
Chakravakam topped the poll in the Andhra Pradesh Cinegoers' Television Awards in 2006, winning seven awards including the best actress award and best character actor and actress.[2] The previous November, the serial won a best male playback singer award at the Nandi Awards.[3]
